Get your fill in Austria's largest ski resort with 185 kilometres of slopes

State-of-the-art snow machines ensure that the slopes are in optimal quality from early winter until Easter. Due to very good preparation techniques and top snow production, these slopes are always in perfect condition.

The 4-Berge-Skishaukel of Schladming

Alpine skiers can indulge in Austria's largest ski area, one of the largest in Europe. Ski Amadé consists of 5 regions, of which Schladming-Dachstein is the largest. This ski area has 185 kilometres of slopes, where 76 lifts take you back to the top quickly. Schladming's 4-Berge-Skishaukel are the centre of this skiing delight. 760 kilometres of piste fun, modern gondola lifts and authentic Alpine huts to take a short break and have a bite to eat. By car, or from the nearby bus stop, you can reach each of these ski mountains, Planai, Reiteralm, Hochwurzen and Hauser Kaibling individually.

In operation from 2022, the new Rittisberg kombi ski lift. The 6-seater chairlift with child safety and weather hood will be alternated with 10-seater gondolas.

Winter snow fest

During the winter season, winter snow festivals are held during New Year's Eve week and all weeks in February. The local ski schools put on a spectacular show with around 80 skiers coming down the black run on the Rittisberg in formation, lit or stunting. Interspersed with paragliders, illuminated mini-helicopters and, to conclude, the presentation of the piste and trail team.

Skiing fun for little ones

Ski school Ramsau has its base within walking distance of Haus Bernhard. The winter playground features the Bambiniland, several practice lifts, magic carpets and a motivated team of ski instructors to teach children skiing in a playful manner. There is plenty of room for skiing fun on 8 spaciously laid-out adventure pistes.

The Dachstein glacier

At an altitude of 2,700 metres, the Dachstein Glacier offers absolute snow safety with its beautiful wide slopes with natural snow.

There are 5 kilometres of pistes on the Glacier. The slopes are red and there is 1 black run. The Also visit the Ice Palace, the 'Sky Walk' and the Staircase into nothingness. Enjoy the breathtaking views, looking all the way to the Czech Republic and Slovenia. The Dachstein Glacier Railway has a gondola with a panoramic balcony, which already makes the trip up a real experience. From the glacier, it is great skiing directly to Haus Bernhard. Along the way you will find the Brandalm, delicious food in a beautiful place.
