Via ferratas are the secured versions of climbing. A steel cable runs along a fixed route, attached to the wall at fixed points with steel anchors. With the right equipment, this allows even sporty, non-mountain climbers to climb these routes. As a reward, an extremely beautiful vista awaits at the end of the route. On the southern side of the Dachstein Mountains, there are 20 beautiful and challenging via ferrata routes.

For children and youngsters, there are three challenging routes to get introduced to climbing. These via ferrata are similar to forest climbing parks where challenging courses are set between trees. Also on the Rittisberg is a forest climbing park for the whole family.
The Randkluft, Anna and Johann will take you to the Hohe Dachstein. This tour with 1,200 altitude metres is challenging for true climbers and one of the longest and most intensive routes in the Alps.
